Brief: Challenged to perfectly recreate the 1.6 scale puppet heads in a larger scale for a pixilation animation sequence.
I worked on:
-Creating the paper-mache outer layer
-Pattern making with Worbla thermoplastic
-Casting the Worbla in the CNC machined moulds.
-Drilling holes to create ventilation and breathing holes.
-Creating animatable eye pupils using magnets and Worbla.
-Painting the eyes
-Assembling James’ hair out of wool.
