I was a trainee prop and mould Maker for ‘Masters of the Air’, August- November 2021
I have gained experience as a prop and mould maker for a WW2 TV drama.
Mould Making Skills Demonstrated:
- Gun Moulds
-Fibreglass jacket moulds
-SG 2000 (Fast cast) and 65D Polyutherane resin casting
-Foam casting using PT-Flex, J- Foam, and Gun Foam
-Casting using metallic powders
-Jesmonite casting
-Food safe silicon moulding
I also completed two weeks of work experience at BGI Supplies where I worked on a life-size WW2 bomber plane prop.
